Project Manager, Lead Engineer

Serving dual role as Project Manager and Lead Engineer for vehicle HVAC systems, glass and insulation. Met original timeline for all systems and components, and under budget. Led 2 global teams, worked directly with several levels of customers, located new suppliers with US based manufacturing capability, managed existing suppliers, production system integrator, subject matter expert and managed multiple projects. Direct responsibility for 4 engineers/designers.

Leading producer of battery powered heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) products for Heavy Duty trucks using intelligent energy-management systems.

Senior Climate Control Engineer

Served as HVAC subject matter expert. Guided product improvement design process on firm’s primary product (ClimaCab). Mentored colleagues and management. Collaborated with supply chain management, manufacturing and quality assurance on manufacturing process definition and control, performing and validation testing and reviewing test results. Research technical literature and wrote product specifications and work instructions.

• Slashed ClimaCab direct material unit cost $1k with design and supply chain improvements.
