Biotech Support Specialist
Responsible for supporting various genomic applications used by Monsanto scientists. Such activities included taking phone calls and logging issues and bugs with any of those applications, as well as smoke testing, and data pulls through SQL queries. At times I would need to remote into a user's computer in order to fix their issues through WebX or microsoft netmeeting. Serena Business Manager was the application used to track and log tickets.

Researcher for Mayden Lab 05/2009-12/2011
Responsible for the cataloguing and measuring of preserved fish specimens in association with Dr. Richard Mayden's research. The goal of the project was to establish a taxonomic classification for an unnamed Cyprinid by comparing scale counts, fin ray counts, and body measurements to those of similar species to determine if distinct morphological differences were present. Other duties included training new student researchers in proper specimen handling, preparation, and measurement.
