• Project Name: “Compact high pressure lubrication pump”. As part of Diploma final year project.

Description: Lubrication is a vital element of manufacturing engineering. It plays an extremely important part when ever interacting surfaces move relative to each other. In this project an attempt has been made to develop a simple motor operated method for lubricating the machine system more effectively in a very less time.

• Project Name: An experimental investigation of surface integrity in the “High speed machining of hardened steel with coated carbide tool”. As part of B.E final semester project.

Description: The main objective of this research work is to investigate the quality and integrity of the surface produced with optimum machining parameters and improves tool life. Hardened AISI H11 die steel with coated carbide tool is used for the investigation. Three parameters, namely cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut were identified for the present work. Taguchi method based L27 orthogonal array was selected and experiments were conducted as per experimental layout plan.
