The Marketing Specialist position presents the challenge I am seeking to
continue to grow in my marketing analysis abilities and to hone my skills
in utilizing data to determine avenues of profitable growth.
I have a Masters in Advertising from the University of Florida, and six
years of marketing and account management experience. The vast majority of
this time was spent working for Yellow Pages Inc. in South Florida,
managing and cultivating the advertising programs for healthcare

In addition, I use SalesForce and Excel to run reports and analyze discount
and coupon redemptions for current clients. I use SalesForce to generate
current advertiser reports to show the account history for each client.
These reports are used by our sales representatives in contract renewals to
demonstrate to clients our proven service history. I also create and
utilize extensive Excel spreadsheets to organize and manage client data.
For example, l created a collective spreadsheet of reservation requests to
present to our clients. It breaks down the number of requests, whether the
reservation was fulfilled, and if not, the reason why. This information is
used to track product redemption and worth.
At my previous position with Yellow Pages Inc., I was in charge of a
healthcare client base of over 135 hospitals and facilities with total
revenues over $100 million. I analyzed client competition both in print
directories and in the growing internet yellow page market to determine the
best competitive placement for each client. Clients used my reports to
determine advertising budgets for upcoming years, as well as to reorganize
their directory programs in a more cost effective manner while maintaining
a high visibility rate.
I was also responsible for the creation and implementation of Yellow Pages
Inc.'s internet yellow pages product. I built training and sales kits,
wrote contracts, developed order entry and tracking process, and instructed
coworkers on the products for all four major directory advertisers.
