I am a recent graduate of NBCC as a Third Class Power Engineer. My educational background includes three years of UNBSJ ( Arts Program) as well as graduation from St. Malachy’s Memorial High School ( French Immersion program.) with a certificate of Proficiency “French as a Second Language”.

I completed both work terms with AHSC – SJRH in the boiler room. I was given the opportunity to assist with boiler maintenance, and received training on the building maintenance side of the SJRH. I am very familiar with all of the boilers, water systems, chillers and air distribution. During the course of my studies at NBCC one of the subjects I enjoyed and excelled at was refrigeration.

I am highly motivated, punctual, enjoy a challenge, conscientious, work well independently or with a team and always welcome the opportunity to expand my knowledge working towards a 2nd Class License should the opportunity arise.

My background working with the Carpenters Union at Irving Oil Refinery required me to show initiative, make timely decisions, and adhere to safety regulations while erecting and dismantling scaffolding.
