Xellent Utility Development on AX 5.0(2009)

Worked for a Denmark based client, this project involved customizations in Ax 5.0. The main focus is to customize a vertical named Xellent, which caters to a wide range of utilities. Customizations are done according to the functional specifications provided by the Denmark team.

Project #2

Data base Upgrade from AX 3.0 to AX 4.0

This project is to upgrade the live data from AX 3.0 to AX 4.0 for a client named Wrekin.

Alone handled the project. Worked onsite for 3 weeks in UK for the same client to perform the data base upgrade.

I was involved in –

• Setting up the servers for both AX 3.0 and AX 4.0.

• Data base upgrade, this involved modifying some of the Release update scripts, developing some jobs to convert data accordingly.

• Unit testing the AX 4.0 functionality to check whether the data is correctly upgraded.

• Releasing the build with data base to the client.

CommTrader Development on Microsoft Dynamics AX 5.0

This project involved customizations in Ax 5.0 for enhancing the base version of commTrader module, ie., developing a vertical “Shipping” in Comm Trader which essentially makes use of Project, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as base modules

In Team of 5 I am involved in –

• Understanding the requirements from the client and prepare the design specifications for the requirement.

• Customizing the existing functionality according to the requirement specifications.

• Integrating the developments done by various developers.

• Maintaining development backups with the use of VSS tool.

This project is to upgrade the CommTrader functionality developed in AX 4.0 to AX 5.0
