• Prism partners were Project Managers to the Hamilton Health Sciences Centre, Rehabilitation and Acquired Brain Injury Building.

• Represent the owner in all dealings with the project; review and approve all invoicing, timelines (Primavera and MSProject) and cost breakdowns; ensure all contractual elements are kept by the general contractor; review and maintain files of all contract documents; guided and co-ordinated the activities of all consultants, inspection authorities, Ministry of Health, environmental authorities and consultants and all service and operational departments.

• Create and manage the owner’s occupancy of the building.

• Negotiated a $1.5 million change order resulting in a $600,000 savings.

• Eleven months after joining the project the administrative problems were under control and the contractor was looking afresh at the site issues and supplied the team required to finish on time, budget and ready for hospital occupancy.

• Rooflifters is a Toronto based smaller construction firm that specializes in raising the roof on existing warehouses and reconstructing the walls to the new roof level.
