Motorola, Arlington Heights, IL Feb.’08 – Feb.’10
Systems Test Engineer
• Testing of the device software to check for proper authentication, registration, service flow creation and obtaining IP address, completing the network entry/selection process.
• Performing active, idle and sleep mode handovers/network reselection with Nomadic/Mobile IP users for Intra/Inter-Sector, Base Station, Payload, APC and Foreign Agent configurations.
• Calculating Connection Outage and Idle mode exit delay from Wireshark traces /logs manually and by running scripts on Cygwin.
• Measuring quality of BE, VOIP-UGS, VOIP-ERTPS, RTPS, NRTPS service types for different data profiles and calculating the packet loss, latency and jitter.
• Performing KPI/RF performance test scenarios to measure throughput for a range of CINR for different service flow types using a different Fader profiles to simulate the real world scenario.
• Performing Traffic Shaping test scenarios to calculate aggregate throughput for single or multiple service flows per user.
• Execution of the test plans and reporting of the final results in the Test Studio software for future reference.
