• Current assignment working on migration of Business Lending IVR from running on a TSYS II platform to in-house Nortel MPS-1000 Voice Guided System (VGS).

• Performed systems analysis to determine feasibility of implementing IVR Resiliency for the MPS-1000 Card IVR System

• Participated in various vendor Proof Of Concept projects for evaluating Voice XML products

• Design and implemented new IVR applications for migration from Legacy MBNA VRU system to Nortel MPS-1000 Card IVR platform.

MBNA (Nov 1999 Jan 2006)

• Architect developing new functionality and enhancements for a credit online system. Responsibilities include:

 Interface directly with our customers to resolve and establish interface requirements.

 Generate System Detail Design Specifications and Unit/Sit Test Plans and scripts.

 Successfully enhanced the US Credit On-Line System for use in Canada. Also provided an interface to the Credit Letter System for use in Canada.

 Added a Middleware Service Routine to support the Telemarketing System (STS).

• Common Services VRU group. Responsibilities include:

 Member of the VRU / CTI / Contact Center Replacement Project Team.

 Design/implement and enhance Intervoice VRU applications including 3270 screen scraping for backend data retrieval from an IBM 360/90 system.

 Developed a VRU test tool used for testing VRU application software. Test tool simulates host transaction processing through use of user generated test account files.

 Generated VRU Technical Documentation, using MS Word and Visio; Unit and System Integration Test Plans and Test Scripts, USA, Canada, and TSYS host transactions, 3270 CIS fields and their descriptions.

MENTOR GROUP, INC. (November 1995 to March 1998)

Consultant/Technical Lead for the following IS projects:

• Successfully designed and implemented an Ancillary Data Collection Program for an Asset Management System to be executed on various Unix platforms. The program was developed using the C programming language and utilized the Unix curses functions to provide the user interface.

• Developed corporate Web application software to interface to legacy mainframe system to allow Internet and Intranet access to Help Desk Call Tracking Information.

• Successfully developed client/server functions using Remote Procedure Calls (RPC). These provided a common interface between Unix based systems and AS400 systems.

• Successfully developed an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to send e-commerce Information and receive confirmation that the order was shipped. This information was stored and retrieved using Sybase embedded sequel code. Customer data was encrypted and decrypted using Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) software. Korn shell scripts were used to perform encryption/decryption processing.

Digital Equipment Corp. (August 1995 to November 1995)

• Contracted to perform testing of DIGITAL’s SVID compliant version of UNIX using DEC Alpha series computers.

Independent Consultant Contracted To:

Securicor Telesciences Inc. (March 1995 to August 1995)

• Developed and wrote Engineering and Software Detailed Design Specifications, and software and integration test procedures for the Securicor Telesciences AUTRAX II product development.

• Designed and wrote UNIX script files to reformat file info and generate various billing reports.

• Successfully designed and implemented an Application Program Interface to enable programs written in 4GL to access the Multiple Language Support feature provided by the HP UNIX System

Catalyst, Inc. (March 1994 to March 1995)

• Participated in the general design, detailed design, coding, and implementation of an On Screen Guide (OSG) for TV Guide On Screen. The OSG application is an embedded system which resides in a commercial cable company’s set top converter.

Ilex, Inc. (July 1993 to March 1994)

Principal Software Engineer

• Responsible for the design and implementation of a major enhancement to the Ilex SCADA System. The enhancement consisted of adding a serial communications interface from an Ilex Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) to a Cooper Power System F4C Recloser device.

• Contracted to Martin Marietta, Camden, NJ, to code and implement Crosspoint Matrix Configuration functions for their HIPERLON Data Recording System.

Computer Sciences Corporation (December 1992 to July 1993)

Sr. Computer Scientist

• Responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the Console Display Function of the AEGIS System.

AEL (August 1992 to December 1992)

• Successfully designed and implemented software for an X Window System application using OSF/MOTIF on a SUN SPARC Workstation with UNIX Operating System. Application software was written in Ada and consisted of multiple text widgets, and associated callback processing. Builder Accessory GUI was used to design and generate the UIL.

COMCON, INC. (June 1982 to July 1992)

• Design, code, and implementation of Proof Of Concept (POC) Software using the C programming language. Host platform was a SUN Workstation and the target platform was a chassis consisting of multiple Motorola 68040 based single board computers networked via a VME bus. Communications network between the host and target was Ethernet using TCP/IP protocol. Software design was object oriented; implementation was accomplished by utilizing multi-tasking features provided by the SCG pSOS+m Operating System. Designed and implemented two TCP/IP Servers, one in the host and one in the first node in the chassis. Data transfer was Stream data using Socket processing.

• Project Leader of a team responsible for the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of Computer Software Configuration Items (CSCIs) for a real-time Command and Control System.

• Directly involved with enhancement and problem correction to the Classic Centerboard System (a main upgrade to the existing Navy Bullseye HF Direction Finding System). Specific involvement included enhancing the operator interface and system commands and implementation of a LAN interface input/output message queuing capability.

• Contracted to GE, Camden, NJ, to provide system-engineering support on their NASA Space Station Freedom Program.

• Contracted to RCA, Camden NJ, to develop embedded system software for the Ground Wave Emergency Network (GWEN) Communications System. Responsibilities included the design and implementation of a Network Control Processor simulator, systems integration test director, enhance and maintain communications subsystem that also provided the interface for the Human Machine Interface (HMI) subsystem.

• Contracted to XEROX, Rochester, NY, to participate in the design and implementation of an automated material handling system. My responsibilities included the design and implementation of man-machine interface, terminal interface with concentrators and workstation terminals.
