Candidate Over-All Profile:

Entire experience involves in oil and gas, petrochemical plant, gas to liquid refinery, (LNG) liquefied natural gas plant, underground storage plant, power plant heavy industrial facilities. Giant yard for assembling and fabrication of platform, mining plant facilities

As an instrument technician my duties is to perform line checking of power and control cables, calibration trimming of all field instrument, checking signal from control control room through the field, loop checking used communicator and direct inject pressure through instrument device for final testing, simulation of all the field instrument from DCS. Stroking of valves such as control valve, motorized valve Close/open valve and manual valve

In such as additional jobs, trouble shooting, repairing of instrument device are the jobs involve in scope of work. Modification of control system and re-wiring in marshalling cabinet through control system also modify the existing equipment as good as new one.

Throughout my duties I was assigned in commissioning department which I contribute my knowledge’s in instrumentation and perform testing, test pack, pre-com, commissioning, final acceptance and warranty of electrical and instrumentation jobs

Note that my entire contracts done in my companies are Finish project/ end of contract. And I dedicated my time as a good employee

Duties and responsibilities

Pre-commissioning and commissioning

• To execute testing of all field instrument that are involve in the package during commissioning period

• Rectify all the problem of instrument to establish start up

• Line checking of control cables

• Pre-check and testing signal (digital output/digital input, analog output/analog input) from console through field

• Bench / Field calibration of all process instrument devices

• Perform loop test .checking data output. and simulation of all instrument from the field to DCS using different kinds of test equipment such as communicator

• Inject direct low/high pressure to instrument ( level ,flow ,pressure transmitter ) for functional testing

• Trouble shooting and repair instrument device for such any reason/problem

• Final testing, stroking of all valves to check the correct percentage on each output

• Cause and effect, sequence and interlock test

• Pre- commissioning and commissioning

• Final acceptance

• Warranty and preventive maintenance

Installation and construction

• Prepare of all necessary equipment to install

• Installation of cable tray, cable ladder and conduit

• Installation of newly device. Electrical and instrument equipment

• Mounting and installation of different kinds of safety device, security system and telecommunication system

• Cable pulling. Wiring of various electrical equipment including electronic device

• Termination of control and power cables

• Replace the old and existing pneumatic instrument/equipment to new electronic transmitter to upgrade the system
