Industrial Engineer 2007-Present

- Design and develop lean processes for improvement in existing operational procedures, and facilitate reduction in costs while driving continuous improvement in quality of products.

- Streamline analysis on statistics operations, research and other pertinent details through independent development of systematic process models, databases and spreadsheets.

- Generate and ensure timely completion of summary analysis and metrics for consultation to customers, including management, departments and implementation.

Graduate Research Assistant 1997-1999

- Ensured the seamless set up of complex equipment for a wide range of experiments, and conducted study in Human Factors and Operation Research.

Projects:

- Improved the design of workstations, resulting to substantial decrease in equipment idle time by 46.76% and buffer size by 20% (Plymouth Tube Company (a specialty metal manufacturer of tubing and extruded products).

- Accurately gathered and compiled data from 8-hour setting for each participant for a Human Reliability Evaluation for Keyboarding Task program. Developed and validated models for quantifying total body fatigue / human reliability relationship. Grant provided by National Science Foundation.

- Developed and conducted study in accordance to NIOSH in order to analyze the effect of lifting different workloads and the effects of duration of the lifting task on heart rates.

- Synchronized the design of an assembly line with nine operations arranged into six workstations to produce Shop-Vac wet/dry vacuum cleaner with an operation efficiency of just over 86%.

- Articulated factors affecting the system between maintenance of manufacturing equipment/machinery and the quality of manufactured products (IIE Transactions; June 1, 2000; Vol. 32; Issue 6; P471).
