WORK EXPERIENCE:

InterAmerican Energy - Oklahoma City Jan 2010 to Present

Engineer Consultant / Owner

• Consulted for Crown Energy on Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma field operations and development.

• Assembled procedures, materials needs, and economic justification for completions, re-completions, installation of artificial lift in new drills, remedial works/abandonment on marginal wells, and salt water disposal surveillance under regulations.

Devon Energy - Oklahoma City and Permian Basin, TX Mar 2004 – Nov 2009

Senior Operations Engineer

• Increased production by 3,000 BOEPD with 25 new vertical/horizontal drills, and 200 completions/recompletions/re-activations and fracs in carbonate reservoirs.

• Reduced operating costs 50% through recompletions, acid and frac treatments, and enhancement of injection facilities, transport and well re-completions.

• Dropped SWD costs by 60% with five system conversions, and redesign of injection and storage facilities in compliance with Texas Regulatory.

• Increased well productivity life by monitoring well performance, curve decline, wellbore hydraulics, operating costs, production issues, and surface equipment installation and maintenance.

• Achieved 35% output increase by recompleting wells, and implementing a waterflooding project.

• Sustained production goals through design, monitoring, and troubleshooting of 600 wells on bema pumping, ESP and Plunger Lift.

Transnational Energy Consulting Company - Oklahoma City Oct 2002 – Dec 2003

Petroleum Engineer Specialist

• Optimized Algeria’s Hassi Messaud operation by evaluating existing gas lift and metering systems.

• Introduced technical upgrades to boost production 25% and lower gas injection 30%.

Corporinoquia (Environmental and Regulatory Agency) Feb 1999 – Sep 2001

Colombia, South America

Director

• Implemented and enforced regulatory standards for oil and natural gas drilling, production, processing, distribution, and disposal of salt water and drilling fluids.

• Issued 1,500 licenses and permits for oil and gas drilling, and formation water disposal systems while protecting water conservation and natural resources.

Independent Consultant Jun 1992 – Dec 1998

Petroleum Engineer, Colombia, South America
