• Work part-time at a fast paced, emergency shelter with youth in Child Protective Services (CPS), who are experiencing homelessness, or involved in family conflict.
• Answer phones and impart information about agency services.
• Build rapport with clients and make them feel welcome in the shelter.
• Complete intake and discharge packets.
• Maintain and file documentation.
Central Texas Veterans Affairs: Austin Outpatient Clinic
Intern

• Scheduled appointments for veterans to meet with OEF/OIF/OND Case Manager.
• Participated in weekly meetings with a supervisor and monthly meetings with the combat veteran team.
• Used CPRS and Vista to electronically maintain client medical records.
• Worked individually and in groups with veterans, and in a multidisciplinary team to best serve our clients’ needs.
