• Coded and designed programs in IMS/COBOL for order entry order providing and TIN labeling systems, along with other systems that involve the coding of screen programs. Extensive edit checking for the validity of data, testing and debugging, documenting and design of the MFS.

• Coded and designed programs using CSP to create screens for end users.

• Coded embedded SQL/COBOL programs to handle batch loading and maintenance of the DB2 tables along with frequent use of QMF to create test situations or verify data accuracy.

• Coded IMS/DB2 attached programs and VAX COBOL programs, as well as continuously working with Weirton’s other systems such as: payroll, order status, quality control, standard cost, packaging and shipping, stores, inventory control, pension and insurance benefits, inventory control, etc., both in writing new programs and maintaining existing ones.
