PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2003 - Present Principal -- Fountainhead Realty & Development, Raleigh, North Carolina. Responsibilities include: Managing all aspects of a Real Estate Development and Consulting Firm, serving as Broker-in-Charge of the traditional Real Estate operations, as well as overseeing all General Contracting Services to complete the full value-added concept of this small firm with a high level of service to its clients.

2007 - 2010 Construction Manager - Kane Realty Corporation, Raleigh, North Carolina. Responsibilities included: Worked with both the development and construction management teams to coordinate the design, feasibility, permitting, sequencing, scheduling of all construction projects. Other responsibilities included material and color selections, hardscape and landscape coordination, retail tenant coordination, retail tenant fit-up project management, and master planning new developments. The focus of the management responsibilities was pre-construction coordination .

2005 - 2007 President -- Charleston Homes, Raleigh, North Carolina. Responsibilities included: The start up and oversight of all aspects of a new regional home building company. Closing revenues topped 10 million in first full year of operation along with winning five Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence (MAME) awards and two Stars awards from the NCHBA in that year. Also oversaw construction of a 332-unit apartment project for the parent Development Company and worked on the planning of a 600 acre Traditional Neighborhood Development and golf course.

1996 - 2003 Project Developer -- Bobbitt Design Build. Raleigh, North Carolina. Responsibilities included: marketing, developing new sales opportunities, maintaining client relations, estimating construction costs, assisting owners’ in obtaining financing, Value Engineering, writing of Design/Build construction contracts, overseeing architectural design and engineering, obtaining all applicable permits, and coordinating/facilitating the Owners, Project Managers, office staff members, and field crews through the construction process.

1994 - 1996 Construction Administrator -- The FWA Group. Charlotte, North Carolina. Responsibilities included: reviewing contractor submittals, ensuring contractor compliance with construction documents, and conducting regular field inspections and job site meetings.
