DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
• My main responsibility is to make sure that the data center is in fully functional condition. Also I have to check daily the data center’s UPS and all Camera servers Storage hard drive, Camera User Servers, BMS Server, Door Access Server, Fire Alarm Server, IP Telephone Server and Network Servers. After checking all servers I should also checked the SUN SWITCH if it is still running and no malfunctions on each port which will cost delay or may damage the video image recording. After checking hardware part I also must checked the software of the camera servers using HP command view, for the safety of the video recording and for future request of Ministry of Interior (MOI). MOI is using HP EVA 8000 rack, HP Blade server, HP controller and loop switch for data storage hard drive and SAN SWITCH.
• I am also responsible in creating a monthly backup of all data modification in twenty two Camera Data Servers and five Camera User Servers using Red Hat Linux 4.2.
• Also I was assigned to maintain all low current in the site which consists of CISCO router switches 2900 and 3560 for networking, CCTV, IP telephone and BMS Network cabling and fiber optic installation for new connection inside low current.
• I also have intermediate knowledge in handling Building Management System (BMS) AHU, FCU and Chiller cause we handle the monitoring system of BMS.
• And also I have intermediate knowledge in handling and trouble shooting in fire alarm system.
• I am also assigned to maintain all personal computers (PC) used in the site, hardware and software issues, making sure that all system needed must be running properly and normally, especially NETAVIS VIEWER for amalyat surveillance and SIPORT for which is link to HYBER CAM, GROUND GUARD and INTRUSION.
• All problems in data center which including hardware replacement and software installation which I have to take action, should be reported to the data center engineer, and even if with or without his present in the site. I should ask for his consent and permission before I will perform or execute the task in replacing any parts and installing any software’s.
• And sometime I also execute the task of configuring CISCO IP TELEPHONE 7906, 7960 and 7970 assigning restriction for local calls and outside calls.
• I also have intermediate knowledge in handling DOOR ACCESS SIEMENS system due and part of my responsibility as a data center technician.
• I also have intermediate knowledge in configuring CISCO routers and switches like CISCO Switch 3560 and CISCO Switch 2960.
• During my assignment at Hajj International Airport was trained to handle the trouble shooting of Auto Clear X-RAY machine for passengers luggage auto clear 6040 and 100100T parts replacement and calibration of the machine.
