Seeking the Position of Foreman/Superintendent:

As a licensed Journeyman Electrician with twelve years in the trade, I am looking for a position that would allow me to maximize and enhance my knowledge, skills and abilities as a commercial or industrial electrician and general foreman.

Summary of Qualifications:

Extensive experience in the application, repair and installation of high amperage switchgear, three phase starters, motors, transformers, and 480/277 volt systems.

Outstanding at troubleshooting, diagnosing and correcting electrical problems in the power distribution, electrical equipment and lighting systems.

Prepare drawings or follow blueprints to determine location of wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications, building and safety codes. Thorough knowledge of the NEC and its application.

Utilize such test equipment as ammeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

Safely use hand and power tools applicable to the trade. Experienced and qualified to work on ladders, scaffolding, tunnels, crawl spaces, climbing ropes and harnesses from towering structures.

Supervision of up to fourteen electricians, including instruction, workload assignments, inspections, scheduling and training. Safety training for employees on OSHA standards.

Eight years of experience in injection and rotational molding, slot extrusion, equipment maintenance and Statistical Process Control in the plastics fabrication industry.

Solid mechanical, mathematical, analytical abilities and aptitude.

Perform physically demanding tasks including but not limited too, trench digging for laying conduit and other buried materials, pipe bending, pulling wire and attaching heat tape to buildings.

Building and Site Foreman of the construction of Colorado Northwest Community College in Craig, CO

General Foreman of a 1.2 million dollar job on a 36 unit, high end condo with a 3000 amp service. Extensive use of three-phase equipment and bus duct. Completed on time and under budget. General Foreman on commercial garage project. Utilized a 480/277 volt, 400 amp service with multiple transformers and extensive use of three phase motor and control circuits.

Performed administrative tasks such as reports, purchasing, receiving, inventory and scheduling.

Maintain temporary electrical services and coordinate with utility provider to plan transformer shutdowns and power change over.

Interface with project superintendents and electrical engineers on issues arising from building construction to achieve the best possible end result.
