DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

Selective Insurance Company of America is one of the leading insurance companies in USA. MNBS is the new modernized version for the existing system NBS. In the new system, the Underwriting process is automated.

Underwriters are one who accepts/rejects the customer’s policies depending on customer’s information. Modifications are done in the front end screens by giving new advantages for the customers by including HOLD facility.systems like Flexcab, MICA, CIBS etc. here flexcab is not a single application, its billing system combination of UPS, Pricing, Invoicing and triggers.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysis of the Change request, Technical specifications.

• Analysis of Code & Development of new programs and Enhancement to existing system using detailed design documents.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

MetLife (Metropolitan life insurance Company) is one of the biggest insurance companies in USA. This is an offshore maintenance project which includes understanding the system flow for the application which prints the Logo address for the client letters forms.These address changes had to be incorporated in the application.

The changes have to be done in the programs in such a way that it will print the correct address on the letter depending on the report ID, when the same assembly table and program generates two report which is to be delivered at the two different destinations. This involves JCL changes and return in a test environment.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysis of the specifications, prepare Documents.

• Performing change requests and enhancements.

• Performing Impact analysis as per the user requirement.

• Participate in Project monitoring reviews.

• Preparing unit test cases and unit testing.

• Coordination with Team Members.
