My current position is Plant Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities include coordinating LOTO.

Locking out and Tagging equipment such as:

Pumps,Fans,Valves,Breakers,Boilers,Lube oil systems and Turbines.

Insuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility

Working and planning startup and commissioning activities with the Commissioning group and construction, coordinating our Startup Construction/Commissioning group to complete the startup activities.

I was responsible for Startup and Commissioning of plant BOP systems such as:

Condensate Pumps,Boiler Feedwater Pumps,Boiler Water Circulating Pumps, Plant Air Compressors,Condensate and Feedwater system including control valves and associated equipment. Firewater system and Auxiliary Cooling water system.

I was responsible for the Boiler, Condensate and Feedwater Chemical cleaning and flushing utilizing a private contractor.

I was responsible for creating the Facility Preventative Maintenance Manual which was a deliverable to the client.

I was responsible for implementing the Startup/Turnover Packages

I was the Lead Mechanical BOP Startup Engineer.

My group was responsible for startup and commissioning of all BOP systems and the gas turbines.

Responsibilities also include Locking out and Tagging equipment such as: Pumps,Fans,Valves,Breakers, Lube Oil systems and Gas Turbines.

Insuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility as startup activities progressed and various systems were placed into service.

Coordinating our Startup Construction/Commissioning group to complete the startup activities.

My duties were Operations Startup Supervisor/Clients Witness.

Responsibilities include Locking out and Tagging equipment such as: Pumps,Fans,Valves,Breakers,Boilers,Lube oil systems and Turbines.

Insuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility as equipment was placed into service.

I was responsible for planning startup and commissioning activities with the Commissioning group and construction.

Coordinating our Startup Construction/Commissioning group to complete the startup activities.

I was responsible for pre and post commissioning/Inspection of the Heat Recovery Steam Generators.

I was responsible for commissioning all BOP equipment.

The facility was a 750 Megawatt, combined cycle facility with a ZLDS.

The plant, consisted of 2-Westinghouse 501-G gas turbines .

1, 300 Megawatt Seimens steam turbine.

2- Nooter Erikson HRSG’S.

My duties included but not limited to performing engineering support associated with the initial start-up of the ZLDS water plant/Clients witness.

The water plant PLC is wonder ware and RS logics.

Demin water is made via the EDI and RO.

The cooling tower blowdown treatment started with a Clarifier with a side stream RO and multi media filter. Also included is a Crystallizers and Evaporator system with a filter press and a belt press.

The facility was a 700 Megawatt, combined cycle facility.

My duty was Shift Supervisor Support/Client Representative in the control room.

Client: San Diego Gas & Electric Project name: Palomar Energy

The facility was a 232 Megawatt combined cycle facility.

The steam turbine was a GE-D-11.

The gas turbines were 7FA.

The HRSG were Nooter Erikson.

My duties consisted of Mechanical/Operations support

I was responsible for the startup and Commissioning of all the BOP systems such as:

Boiler Feedwater Pumps

Condensate Pumps

Boiler Feedwater and Condensate systems and associated equipment

Cooling water systems..

This was a plant restart after about 1 year in layup.

I was responsible for reflushing/Startup operations of all of the BOP systems.

I was responsible for collecting vibration data on all plant rotating equipment for preventative and predicative maintenance.

The facility was a 320 mega watt combined cycle facility.

The steam turbine was Alstom.

My responsibilities were Mechanical and Operations support. I

was responsible for supervising the clients’ personnel.

My duties consisted of but not limited to coordinating and directing the activities of the

operations and maintenance personnel. Provided weekly and monthly performance reports; on operations and maintenance progress, to Corporate Headquarters. Reviewed Continuous Emissions, daily.

Recruited, interviewed and selected personnel. Developed operational statistics, obtained bids, and prepared budgets.

Responsible for implementing the facilities preventative/Predicative maintenance program which included vibration analysis for all rotating equipment. Setting up test points on all equipment for checking vibration,training employees to use vibration equipment,archieving,and reviewing all data.

I was responsible for all boiler Inspections,Repairs,Modifications,and hydrostatic testing after repairs were completed..All outage work including preventative, Predicative maintenance including U.T. surveys and analysis.
