This McCarran Project is a ground up 14 gate new terminal in which McCarran is to be the first US International Airport to employ the RFID technology.
Weekly baggage system design and baggage scope clarification meeting. Attended and monitored Owner factory acceptance testing of RFID baggage Read/Write tracking system. Review all submittals, RFI’s, Change Order Requests from the baggage system supplier. Coordination of the TSA L3 delivery. Reviewed and processed all signage submittals, signage installation. Review and over see; the elevator and escalator coordination and installation, underground Automated Transportation, ticket and gate counters, BIDS, FIDS, RIDS, UPS, project power feed, Jet Fuel distribution and Jet Bridge contracts. Flagship Construction
This McCarran Project consisted of 5 Baggage Handling Nodes for Southwest Airlines use, 4 structural steel constructed from ground up and 1 a remodel of an existing space to house new baggage handling equipment.
Activities included making certain the new construction did not impede any airport operations or system via communication and coordination with Airport Staff and ensuring the new construction did not prohibit the future upgrades for the RFID baggage tracking up grades. Additionally monitored and coordinated with the Baggage System Supplier and the TSA L3 contractors, installations / commissioning, BIDS, FIDS, RIDS, UPS, project power feed, ticket counter relocation and new installation. Portions of these Nodes required tie in to existing structures and systems. SIDA work conditions

This project is a 24 gate new terminal for Continental Airlines with dedicated areas for TSA and Customs use.
The Automated Ticket Office (ATO) includes a TSA security check point is built on the 3rd level of existing post tension parking structure. The White House an addition to existing baggage handling control room in the baggage handling area for control of the equipment serving Terminal E. The Customs area included TVOW. Reviewed and over saw; the elevator and escalator coordination / installation, gate counters, signage, BIDS, FIDS, RIDS, UPS, Hot Bag Tunnel, project power feed, Jet Fuel distribution and Jet Bridge contracts.
