Supervise operation and maintenance of HVAC, Building Automation and Fire Alarm Systems for proper overall function of this approximately 740,000 square foot building. Identify needs and upgrades for complex and implement necessary changes to improve major systems. Implement preventative measures in order to sustain optimum working order and to reduce equipment failure and repair costs. Maintain fire alarm systems. Program and adjust building automation systems, hardware and software controls.

Selected Achievements:

Revised water chemistry program resulting in zero related failures I the tower water and chilled-water systems

Established an independent facility to perform repairs and maintenance on individual AC units, resulting in a $500 per-unit savings and extending the life of each device

Monitored elevator and escalator systems and called in for maintenance requests
