Quality Assurance Technician with over eight years experience in calibration, instrumentation and Inspection. • Maintains a historical first article and in-process filing system in accordance with Quality Program procedures and instructions.

• Change process from using outside calibration lab to performing most calibration in-house, saving as much as $20,000 (SMC Corporation of America) and $30,000 (Toshiba Information System, Inc.) annually.

• Calibration and technical support. Responsible for calibration of precision instrument, maintaining databases, test equipment calibration system, and instrument installation. All calibrations are performed using NIST traceable standards.

Quality Assurance Calibration Technician, July 2006 to Present

• Responsibility includes the control, inventory, and auditing of precision measuring instruments for inspection. Precision instrument and gauges shall include: Thread plug gage, Calipers, micrometers, pin gauge, gauge blocks, protractors, crimping and other precision tools.

• Perform receiving inspection of purchased parts, subassemblies, in process or finished company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and electrical measurement. Conduct supplier audits on new and current suppliers
