Projects:
Implementation network device driver for 8139 network interface card on Linux:
Description: A network device driver attaches a network subsystem to a network interface. Prepare the network interface for operation and governs the transmission and reception of network packets over the network interface. Network drivers receive packets asynchronously from the outside world. While a block driver is asked to send a buffer toward the kernel the network device asks to push incoming packets toward the kernel. Network interface a device that is able to exchange data with other hosts. A Network interface is in charge of sending and receiving data packet driven by network subsystem of the kernel.
Implementation of Link Manager Protocol (LMP)
Description: The Link Manager is software that runs in Bluetooth stack to manage the communication between Bluetooth devices. Peer-to-peer communication between the Link Managers occurs through messages exchanged via the Link Manager Protocol (LMP). The Messages exchanged between the Link Manager’s takes the form of PDU’s. These messages perform the link set-up, authentication, encryption and control and negotiation of QoS parameters.
Remote Debugger for PowerPC (MPC860) Tools : C, Assembly Language of PowerPC
Platform: Linux, Target processor MPC860.
Description: To design and implementation of remote debugger for a PowerPC MPC860, which resides on the target board. It is like GDB, it supports all mandatory commands. We can debug programs running in target from a Linux Host using serial communication or through Fast Ethernet link.
