Agent Desktop is a platform for application integration - accessing and updating information owned by various source systems and integrating with telephony infrastructure. Agent Desktop’s Case Management Workflow component will route a work item that requires another individual’s or group’s involvement. Once a work item is created, the recipient of the work item will be determined, assignment will be performed, and a notification will be sent. Management of work items may be performed thereafter through Agent Desktop’s Case Management component.
