Final Year Project
Wireless ECG Telemetry SYSTEM using Zigbee Transceiver and Microcontroller 8051.
We developed an ECG Telemetry system that has three major portions.
1. ECG Analog Signal Acquisition
2. Wireless transmission of ECG Signal
3. Graphical User Interface
First we acquire ECG signal of a human body through Sensors and diodes.
The signal is in analog form, first we convert it into digital form through Assembly code using Microcontroller 8051. Then microchip 89C51RD2 is interfaced with Zigbee IC of MC13192. Zigbee Transmitter transmits the signal. On the other hand, another Zigbee Receiver is attached to a computer within 200 meter range which receives the wireless ECG signal and sends it to computer through serial port. Computer stores the received signal. The wireless range of Zigbee Transceiver is 200 meter.
In computer, we designed a Graphical User Interface (GUI) using MAT Lab that displays the ECG Signal.
