• Directed recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientations, and training of all new team members for the largest and fastest growing company in Hot Springs-ramping up from 500 team members from May to December up to 1200 team members for live horse race meet from January through April, encompassing racing, electronic gaming and simulcast betting
• Directed benefits management -payroll, medical, dental, vision, cancer, short term disability and 401k, COBRA, paid vacations, paid holiday, sick leave and personal days
• Developed a new benefits management process, streamlined antiquated inaccurate tracking and reporting system previously being used, bringing company up to speed
• Developed policies, procedures and applicable forms for FMLA, bereavement, jury duty, medical leave, military leave, vacation, personal, sick day, drug and alcohol, transfers and promotions, and sexual harassment/work place violence
