Biographical Brief
Mr. Turpin has accumulated over twentyfive year’s experience in program planning and controls in the aircraft, aviation, space, and electric power industries. Applications have included start-up of new projects, implementation of advanced systems and procedures for project control, and schedule integration for multiple projects.
My primary role is to manage developmental hardware and software schedules involving engineering effort and manufacturing hardware deliverables. To ensure the work force was meeting schedule milestones and delivery dates. As well as analyze the health of the schedules (i.e. incorporate proper WBSs for the correct tasks, incorporate proper earned value techniques identified as well) in advance of potential delays to the project at Northrop Grumman Space Technology and Aircraft Systems Divisions.
My assignment for Raytheon was resource loading schedules, schedule development, troubleshooting, Integration and critical path analysis for advanced technology radar programs at Raytheon Electronic Systems.
Prior to joining Raytheon, Mr. Turpin provided project planning, scheduling, and controls services to MDTS, Log/An Inc., Edison International, Boeing Information and Support Services, and Rocketdyne. The Rocketdyne engagement involved engineering and manufacturing schedule coordination and tracking for Space Station Freedom. Previously, he provided similar services to McDonnell Douglas on the same program.
Earlier, Mr. Turpin was employed at Northrop Aircraft’s in workflow analysis and at Northrop Electronics as a Master Scheduler. For Douglas Aircraft, his assignments encompassed work flow and procedures analysis, as well as coordination of information flow between MD-80 aircraft customers and Douglas’ fabrication facilities nationwide. At Rockwell International he performed schedule and cost analysis services.
Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, awarded Mr. Turpin a B.S. degree in Management.
