Project Name : RF Planning & Optimization of CDMA network

Project Details :
The Scope of the Project is RF Planning & Optimization of a new cell site in Hoskerehalli, the project report provides detailed study on Principles of CDMA Technology, architecture of CDMA Network, advantages of CDMA, theory about RF Planning & optimization, various tools used for RF Planning and Optimization. RF PLANNING deals with the air interface between the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) & the Mobile Station (MS). RF PLANNING also involves designing & optimizing the network in order to provide a high quality services to customers at low cost. The main purpose of the RF planning is fewer base stations per network, greater system efficiency and capacity, improved voice quality and a reduction or elimination of drop calls and multipath problems. This will improve services to the Customers and great reduction in network cost to the Company.
Project 2:
Project Name : Front-end Design, Development and Implementation of RLC in UMTS
Project Details :
In this project a model of the Data Link Layer (Radio Link Layer, RLC) of the UMTS Network incorporating Error Control, Sequencing and Flow Control is created. The UMTS Air Interface Standard 3GPP 25.322 specification is used for such modeling. Verilog is used to do the simulation of the RLC layer based on the 3GPP specification.
