I moved to Houston just over 10 months ago for personal reasons. I have been working with individuals who have mental and/or physical disabilites off and on for 10 years. I love what I do, yet I belive it is time for something new. Caring for people is in my blood and I would like to continue to do so. I am reliable, supportive, flexible, dependable, and caring.

I graduated from High School in Drumright, Oklahoma in may of 1996. I studied all the required courses and took a semester of spanish. I am not fluent in it though. I would at some point like to go back to school and get a degree.

My work history is as follows,

Gatesway Foundation Stillwater Ok. from 2001 through 2004. Here is was a Habitat Training Specialist. I assisted individulas with disabilities with daily living skill. Cooking, cleaning, hygiene, recreational activities, and medication.

Community Service Center Cleveland Ok. 918-***-**** From 2007 through 2009. Here I was also a Habitat Training Specialist for a few months then was promoted to Program Coordinator. In those roles I assisted individuals with daily living skills as well as attending meetings and assisting to doctors appointments. I also ensured the individuals plan of care was being followed by staff and all documentation was current.

Pheonix Residential Services Sand Springs Ok 918-***-****. From 2009 through 2010. Here is assited one individual with disabilites with his daily living skills. In this position I was able to learn a little sign language.

I am the medical guardian of an individual in Oklahoma with disabilites. I do not get to see him as often as I would like yet we talk on the phone weekly. Aside from him I enjoy going to the beach, spending time with family, and reading a good book.
