Was the PCB engineer for Maxtor's MXT 540 SCSI, 540 AT, and 1240 SCSI 3.5 inch disk drives in addition to the Panther P0 and P1 5.25 inch disk drives. Responsibilities included circuit design, generating circuit schematics, component selection, board layout, board test, project scheduling and documentation release.
Conducted design reviews with various functional groups including design engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, marketing and document control. Maintained all documentation associated with the PCB from concept through production manufacturing.
Developed solutions to board design issues by working closely with outside component vendors, fab houses, assembly houses and internal experts. All PCB's passed FCC requirements for emissions by using state of the art board layout techniques.
