Have worked in the field of aviation maintenance since 1986. While working with aviation, worked line maintenance service on large aircraft. Experience with following aircrafts: B747-100/200/400, B767, B727, B777-200/300, A300-200, A340-300 and Cargo aircrafts. Have received certificate upon completion of several courses attended.

Full time Aircraft Mechanic:

Performing line maintenance, daily service checks as per approved maintenance inspection and procedures, assisting snag rectification, minor repairs, monitoring of engine and flight parameters, fuelling, oiling, assist in trouble shooting and fault isolation with respect to various systems, such as engine pressure ratio (EPR) systems, fuel system, ignitions system, oil system, trust reverser system, cabin Pressurization system etc. Removal and installation of all line replaceable units and components such as:

Power Plant: Ignition exciter box, Ignition plug, Ignition lead, Starter, Starter valve, Pylon valve, condition motor, fuel heat valve, Hi stage bleed valve, Fuel filters, Oil filter, Fuel transmitter, N1 transmitter, T/R valve and assist to change FCU, MEC etc.

Hydraulic System: Main and nose wheels tire assemblies and brake when operating limits are reached, Tilt actuator, hydraulic filters, hydraulic pump, hydraulic fluid servicing etc.

Electrical system: Generator, various lighting systems, such as Navigation lights, Landing lights, Runway turn off lights, wings flood and Ground lights, Beacon lights, Cargo lights, Cabin lights and PSUD, Seat electronics etc.

Flight controls: Leading edge flaps power drive unit and rigging of leading edge flaps and operational check, replacement of redder ratio control unit etc.

APU: APU battery, inlet door actuator, servicing of oil etc.

FUEL: Fuel gauges in cockpit and on fuelling panel, inspection of fuel for water and sediments, refueling of aircraft, observing all safety precautions, etc.

OXYGEN: Oxygen cylinders (Pax and Crew) and lines, etc.

Maintenance of aircraft store includes update with aircraft manuals.

Operates all power hand tools and hand held tools including some shop tools such as drill press, grinder, horizontal and vertical band saw, etc. in the performance of assigned repairs or maintenance as directed.

Operates gas torches to do simple soldering and rough cutting and also operate electrical welding machine
