Fruit Fly Program. (medfly):
• Visual inspections of fruit trees by the field inspectors. Trappers place fruit fly traps in host trees and service the trap on a weekly basis. Five Jackson trap and five McPhail traps are deployed per square mile throughout the project area to detect the presence of wild Medflies. baited traps are placed at nurseries, commercial fruit-producing areas and residential properties throughout the state.

DUTIES:
• Ensure that all policies, programs, and daily operations are in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and procedures.

• Work closely with Workers’ Compensation carrier to schedule and arrange training.
• Monitor all Workers’ Compensation injuries, determine causal circumstances, and chart a course of action to minimize or eliminate reoccurrences.
• Meet injured employees at doctor or hospital, assist with necessary paperwork, and make appropriate reports. Follow up with employees until case is closed and they return to work.
