Custom Technology Title: Intern Instrumentation Technician
460 Mac Laughlin Road Supervisor: Bob Bader
Yakima, WA 98908
As a student employee, I worked on a Dutch lathe that had become inoperable. I used computer based programs to translate the Danish blueprints into English; I installed a new rotor switch according to manufacturer specifications; removed cooling oil pump from lathe which was not being used. This was a short term/part time position duties included doing repairs and very little PLC programming, and troubleshooting small Lincoln capacitance start motors. I had to use the internet as my research tool and for translating. I also purchased the MicroLogix PLC, power supply, etc used for a new to industry patent pending agriculture utility device.
