Senior consultant

I am a diligent ITAM consultant with hands-on experience working in IT infrastructure since 1996. I possess experience from daily operations, Design, Implementing and project planning in both the public and private sectors within the US and in Europe. I have worked with and experience different cultures and organizational matrixes. I am very structured and have developed a perfectionist IT lifestyle.

In the past few years I have matured to the challenge of managing ITAM/SAM. I have concentrated on using a selected number of tools including ManageSoft/ FlexNet Suite, LicensWatch and SNOW along with my management and technology experience. During this period, I have successfully completed several large scale implementations and carried out ITAM assessments. Using tools and knowledge delivered audit, Lifecycle management and evaluation for customers intending to raise their effective SAM maturity level and realize significant savings.

About me

I am a very dedicated and engaged person who has acquired a significant amount of experience working in the Information and Technology branch over the last 15 years I am easy to work with and very accustomed to working in an international environment and different cultures. In my free time I enjoy sports reading and writing sci-fi stories. I play Basketball and am a very enthusiastic American Football fan. (New York Giants!).

I am fluent in Danish, Swedish and Norwegian at an expert level..

Recent Project Highlights

ITAM/SAM Assessment: Recently performed an assessment for a manufacturing company. Advising on process implementation, creating effective methods of managing and producing a roadmap which has saved them 24% of their IT budget.

Manufacturing Sector: Using ManageSoft ECM & EDM (Flexnet management suite) I assist in constructing a global compliance infrastructure. Allowing the company to realize their ROI.

Migration : I have been the principal Architect and implementer for the AD/Exchange migration for a multi-National mining corporation. The project involved 20,000 seats and was completed successfully

Hosted Environment: I have led the team that designed and test hosted ManageSoft ECM solutions. These involved remote locations, secured connections and offshore clients and databases

SAM Assessment: Performed SAM/ITAM assessment for a manufacturing company. I have advised on process implementation, creating effective methods of managing and producing a roadmap which has saved them about an estimated 24% of their IT budget.

Shipping & Transportation: Managing one of the world’s largest shipping conglomerates. I was directly in charge of deployment of clients to all assets across every platform. I designed and configured the infrastructure to allow access from every possible client.

2006-2009 F.L.Smidth (EMEA) System Consultant/Architect

I was in charge of the daily operations of the AD Forest/Exchange, Archiving infrastructure and all projects concerning the environment. Along with this responsibility I was also the project leader and point man for the migration of all the EMEA AD Forest migration and went to the different offices for F.L.Smidth in this capacity. I was also the designer and architect of the Archiving solution using Symantec Enterprise Vault.

As a Product Specialist in the Operations department, I was responsible for the operations of Active Directory Forest, Microsoft Exchange and Symantec Enterprise Vault. I worked mainly with large international companies implementing and maintaining their infrastructure and helping to plan ahead for future investments within my area of interest.
