Parts Driver/Front Counter
Duties:
I started out as a parts driver,When I was on a delivery I had to greet the customers, hand them the invoices, help them check in parts and collect the money. with duties such as: delivered parts to customers, filling out log sheets and checking invoices for correct parts. Then I moved to the front counter and greeted customers, looked up various parts on the computer system called ADP, Gathered information from customers on the phone, and in person, when the parts the customer needed where not in stock i would order them and call to customer when parts arrived. I also did shipping and receiving of parts using ups, fedex and other various trucking company's. Also, checked inventory, and reordered parts when we where low, check in new stock and put away in the correct bin. I also helped put downstairs stock away when they needed help or got behind. For a short time I did receiving. I came in early and checked in all the parts from the day making sure they were not damaged, and they were the correct parts. Then I would continue with my normal daily job. I cleaned bins every other week and swept the floors daily.

Duties:

When I was on a delivery I had to greet the customers, hand them the invoices, help them check in parts and collect the money. Then I was moved up to the main building and was a parts puller, with duties such as: Pulling parts for counter people and for invoices, helping customers find their parts in will call, put away morning and afternoon stock, check bins weekly to make sure on hand count was correct, check in new stock and put away in the correct bin. Duties:
I ordered the customers glasses and lenses, answered the phone, and made appointments, helped them to fill out the paper work, wrote up invoices, received the money, called customers when their eye glasses came in for them to pick up. At the end of the day I would close up. I would make sure the doors were locked and blinds were closed. Then I would count the money to make sure we have the correct amount for the day, sweep and mop the floors, dust the shelves, arrange glasses display, and once a month rearranged the window display. After everything was done for the day I would go to the bank and deposit all the money for the day.

Duties:
This was a seasonal job and I helped open up the shop in the morning and watered all the plants and flowers. During the day, I would make fresh flower arrangements, clean the display coolers, sweep and vacuum the floors, greet customers, set up floor displays and the window displays. I would also deliver when we were really busy. When I delivered I would sit with the customers to see if they like the arrangement we made and collect the money if needed. I would help lock up at the end of the day and run any last minute deliveries.
I am a very hard worker who is willing to work long hours, and I have a reliable transportation. I am good with computers and I am a fast learner and like to learn new things. I have very good customer service skills, every job I have had, I've worked with the public over the phone and in person.
