Electro-Graph has been a well known name in the world of semiconductor spares for over 30 years. My duties were to maintain an intranet file system and online catalogue for raw materials and a particular OEM product line, performing reverse engineering for Exact and Modified designs, and develop new tooling and product designs.

• Pursued OEM market share by developing and testing a new ion implantation source

• Saved customers tens of thousands of dollars a year through innovative part designs and modification

• Leveraged previous skills in QA as an internal quality auditor

Quality Engineer Toppan Optical Products Poway, CA 2005-2007

Toppan, a household name in Japan for printing technologies, opened its Optical Products division for the benefit of the rear projection TV screen market. Our duties were to implement and maintain the ISO 9001:2000 QMS, cross-train with other departments, and pursue continuous improvement. I managed 5 internal inspectors for incoming, in-process, and outgoing product quality.

• Salvaged thousands of dollars for the company through material reviews at the customer site

• Saved the company thousands in future rejection returns by resolving material, handling, and packaging errors

Tooling Engineer / Quality Engineer BEI Kimco Magnetics Division San Marcos, CA 2004-2005

BEI Kimco manufactures various brushless DC actuator and motor solutions for various industries. My duties were to maintain the ISO 9001:2000 QMS in all aspects. I managed 3 inspectors and a document control coordinator.

• Saved the company thousands of dollars through incoming material and final product inspection

• Effectively and promptly duplicated our ISO 9001:2000 QMS into our new facility in Mexico prior to opening
