Fugro Seismic Imaging, Inc. – Houston, TX (2007 to Present)
• Sr. Linux Administrator / Analyst, Directly responsible for 7 Data centers for North and South America dealing with software, hardware, and other facets of the operations to ensure that business operates as usual. Solely responsible for managing and maintaining the Houston HPC environment of 10,000 cores (approximately 800 servers) and data stores of 3 Petabytes. Perform technical troubleshooting within an enterprise environment, including system crashes, slow-downs and data recoveries. Engaged and tracked issues, with responsibility for the timely documentation, resolution and closure of trouble tickets for all Linux Helpdesk needs for the America’s centers with 24/7 support.
• Strong Customer Relations/Service Skills /Office Procedures/Desktop Support - Provide desktop systems and user support for approximately 150 users (approximately 300 desktops) throughout the Americas.
