Major Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to Enar Process team.

• Evaluate operational concerns and propose corrective actions.

• Recommends/review new installations or modifications to improve existing facilities.

• Develop younger process engineers.

• Study new ideas and innovative technologies to enhance plant operation, reliability, profitability, or performance.

• Develop/review design packages and modification procedures.

• Develop/review chemical cleaning, major equipment performance, and piping modification procedures.

• Participate in and/or provide support during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and testing activities of new projects and facilities.

• Ensures effective analysis of plant operations, resolution of existing problems.

• Setting process conditions of the plant for production of different fuels including Light Naphtha, Heavy Naphtha, Solvent Naphtha, Kerosene, MTT, HSD, Low Sulphur Furnace Oil and Jet Fuel.

• I am monitoring the process performance of following equipments; Distillation Columns, Heat Exchangers, Condensers, Deaerator, Boilers, Pumps, Compressor, Furnaces, Cooling Towers, Ion Exchangers.

• Overall Management and Maintenance of All Cooling Towers Chemical Dosing System refinery.

• Daily water analysis and dosing of chemicals to cooling towers accordingly.

• Monitoring and Controlling of parameters within the Chemical Dosing system.

• Initial treatments of cooling towers for better results.

• Monthly test for corrosion and micro organisms, by installing corrosion coupon.

• Co-ordinates and prepares short and long term maintenance programmes for all routine' and major equipment

I worked as a Shift Engineer on Crude Distillation Unit equipped with “Emerson

Process Delta V version - 9.3” DCS, at ENAR Petroleum Refining Facility, From 2006 to 2009

Major Responsibilities:

• Shift management i.e. work order, production reports, Logs report and job execution under permit

to work system.

• Full operation of DCS System (Emerson Process DELTA V 9.3 Programmed).

• Involve in Production planning of refinery units.

• Ensure safe, steady and efficient operation’s of the unit during shift.

• Monitoring operating parameters and maintain it within limits.

• Supervise Planned and Emergency Plant Shutdown activities

• Follow standard operating procedures for shutdown and startup.

• Ensure filling of daily log sheets, checklists and others documents.

• Review Units operating procedures and suggest improvements.

• Suggest improvement / modification to enhance unit safety, capacity and service factors.

• Energy and Material balance of units.

• Generate both (Daily and Monthly) based performance fact sheets in connection with Crude throughput.
