I have 12 years professional experience as an IBEW low voltage electrician and sound engineering/design technician with specific skills including pro audio, A/V design/installation, CCTV, MATV, Data, Telephony, Security Systems, Live Sound Engineering, Paging and Intercom Systems. I have comprehensive skills in all phases of sound contracting and A/V installations in commercial and private environments. I can decipher electrical prints and schematics. I follow low voltage cabling and infrastructure practices. I can assist in design and engineering of A/V systems to meet client requirements. I can design and program most audio processors. I have great computer skills. I find troubleshooting problems very exciting. I can solder to repair circuit boards and terminate connectors. I am familiar with most test equipment, instrumentation and troubleshoot problems. I can build and wire any type of A/V racks. I can tune an acoustic space by ear or by using test equipment like Smart Live and audio toolbox. I can terminate and test any custom A/V or low voltage cables.
