Research Associate (2004-2010): Played key role in conducting academic research into wireless networking technologies and standards. Performed research into quality of service support modeling and wireless network congestion control, focusing on wireless LAN networks including Hiperlan\2, WiMAX, and IEEE802.1X. Developed cross-layer design models and algorithms to resolve user contention in medium access control. Explored methods for error control modeling to reduce delay caused by faulty data retransmission reception.
• Created several cross-layer analytical models between physical and data link layers enhancing single- and multi-channel medium access standard wireless network operations.
