CURRENT POSITION AND INTRODUCTION

Scientific education and background in materials engineering and surface technology with strong propensity for business and sales.

Experiences either in industry and research institutes (private and publics).

I work for an international medical device company. Since 2009 I ‘m in charge of Technical and Scientific Director with responsibilities in the managing and leading the company with special regards to the all the production department and facilities, research and development department ., clinical affairs, regulatory affairs and business development.

I'm idea man, founder and partner of the company Genefinity S.r.l.. The company, originated and founded by a team of engineers form the university of Trieste, studies and develops new technologies and products for the biomedical world.

I’m in charge of Business Development Manager; I currently work as getting contact and finding new business opportunity developing and promoting innovative technology in the biomedical/engineering field.

Since 2009 I’m Invited member of the International Scientific Committee of the MPA Meeting (International Meeting on Developments in Materials, Processes and Applications of Emerging Technologies);

Invited Member In the Scientific Committee of the International Panel “Ceramic Cells and Tissue”.

Invited Member of the Italian Panel of Experts of “Biomaterials for Health”.

I've a PhD degree in Nanotechnology at the CENMAT(Centre of Excellence in Nanotechnology and Nanostrucutred Materials, University of Trieste, Italy), having strong experience in materials and technology for biomedical applications.

I got several awards and prizes for business plan competition and as young innovative entrepreneur.

Among others, I've worked for VITO (Belgium National Institute for High Technology. Mol Belgium), for Metalpack S.r.l., Studio MTA and I was Visitor Researcher at Oxford Materials (Oxford University, Oxford, UK).

I’ve work with teams in the organization and preparation of several projects, especially for European funding (FP6-FP7).

I collaborated in several projects with technical and leading duties, especially in collaboration with public and private research institute.
