• Reservoir engineering: Finding re-completion potential in Kerr McGee’s Wattenberg Field wells. Re-completion candidates were based on current and historic Sussex zone production, EUR’s, resistivity logs, net sand thickness, and drainage patterns. Aries was used to generate production forecasts and analyze economics for each re-completion candidate.

• Production Engineering: Determining plunger lift velocity and efficiency in EnCana’s Piceance Basin wells using the Echometer Well Analyzer, leading to plunger lift optimization. Determining static bottom-hole pressure of loaded-up wells from fluid level data obtained through use of Echometer “M” model.
