PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Depuy Orthopedics, Raynham, Massachusetts September 2008 – Present

Senior CNC Programmer and Fixture designer on TruMatch Project.

 Intimately involved bringing TruMatch product from concept to product launch, including fixture design and build. Product and process validation.

 Developed CNC programming scheme to program a production level of custom one off cutting blocks for total knee replacement. Program began at 2 sets per week per programmer to 7 per day per programmer currently.

 Currently using Unigraphics NX 6, Teamcenter 2007, Vericut and trained in Mimics.

 Create, update and maintain template files, macros, fixture models, and prints used in programming scheme.

 Program titanium spine implants, design and program stainless steel surgical devices.

 Skilled in Unigraphics, including modeling, drafting, manufacturing, and assemblies.

 Proficient in operating Unigraphics versions NX3 4, 5 and 6.

 Knowledgeable of Sesquoi WorkNC CNC surface programming system.

 Experienced in programming 2, 3, and 5 axis cutter paths, as well as Vericut Cutter Path Verification Program.

 Worked on all aspects of automotive design including but not limited to: Volt project (new electric car) encompassing battery trays, suspension components, body mounts, door inner and outer, etc.

 Van roof, side panels, hood, doors, chassis components, engine mounts, etc.

 Designed and built first hydro-formed chassis die for Corvette.

 Worked on virtually all car and truck lines during my tenure with GM. Focused on the stamping and sheet metal side of business. Including but not limited to chassis, inner components, outer class A surfaces, engine brackets, hinges, mounts, and all other stamped auto parts.
