ACADEMIC PROJECT

Project title: Scalable color image indexing and retrieval using vector wavelets

Description – This project presents a searching of images from database based on color. Search time depends on number of images related to query image and is independent of database size.

The Project work concentrates on automation of metadata creation which includes both high level features and low level features and repository of multidimensional database for digital images, which includes total energy of each sub band, which is energy vector and an image key. The image key represents the image content with respect to other images in the database.
