Synopsis of Work Experience

I was initially employed as trainee in the Engineering Department transmitter section of Radio Mindanao Network, Inc. in October, 1987. In my capacity as a trainee, I assisted in the manufacturing and assembly of AM and FM transmitter responsible for designing, cutting and trimming transmitter’s chassis and panels, designing printed circuit board (PCB) and etching, rewinding of transformers and RF tank coil, mounting and wiring components parts , wire harnessing and testing of the finished products.

After gaining my permanent status in the company, I was promoted as a Broadcast Technician. In addition to the above-noted duties, I was responsible for installing and setting-up new radio stations from the transmitter system up to the antenna system (which included electrical lay-out and wiring) in the various parts of the country. Other responsibilities included antenna tuning, troubleshooting and repair and maintenance of the installed transmitter. I was also in-charge of overseeing co-technicians and trainees who were temporarily assigned to our division.

I also have experience in manufacturing fiberglass for chimneys, terminal blocks, and tank coil holder and transformer enclosure. Furthermore, I also do copper tube plumbing for water cooling system of the transmitter.
