Director of Technology – Function as several different roles. Interactive Design/Development – In this role, I flesh out and code the different aspects of a given project from the meeting with the client to distill desires and expectations to the creation of flats, prototypes, development of the user interfaces, and the overall brand sensibility to the complete coding of the site in ASP, Adobe ColdFusion MX7, Adobe Flash 8, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and any combination of the above. Interactive Department Management – In this role, I oversee and cast vision, set goals, measure effectiveness, determine and enact any necessary remedial action, and manage profitability for a staff of developers against the budget of a given project. Business Development – In this role, I partner with the Vice President of Business Development to provide accurate proposals, attend prospective client meetings and participate in building digital materials for prospective clients. Technology Management (or Client Consulting) – In this role, I schedule contractors and/or hire new employees to service our existing equipment, quote new equipment, troubleshoot user errors, and more in order to ensure a seamless workflow for all employees. Internal and External Application Development – I work directly with the Vice President of Business Development and/or the President to provide a suite of software for management of day-to-day financial information, operations, tasks, time management, project management, and more. My role is to ensure the quality and reliability of the product on an ongoing basis, support users who interact with the software day-to-day, and field new requests for features or software from internal users or clients.
