• Managed mixing, processing, testing, extrusion, and curing of rubber compounds.

• Issued and handled disposition of product holds, maintained and interpreted product, process & material specifications related to maintaining and improving the product quality within the manufacturing process.

• Executed continuous improvement and analysis of product irregularities, recommended solutions and facilitated cost down initiatives to improve manufacturing costs. Implemented a raw material substitution leading to a $160,000 annual cost savings, while maintaining all critical compound properties within specification.
