Project: The Finance Data Mart Consolidation
Project Description: This project was targeted to consolidate the Canadian Finance systems to an existing US system and as well as to move the Canadian history data to the US system. This included changing all the reporting systems to show the Canadian billing information and as well to make changes in the upstream and downstream applications. This project aimed in removing the cost to the client in terms of maintenance of servers, sales force for the Canada region.
Responsibilities:
• Understand the existing Canada Data Mart and Data Load process.
• Involved in HLD and Detailed design document preparation.
• Created mockup reports based on the design.
• Design and development of the dimensional model.
• Involved in performance tuning by optimized query and SSIS packages.

Project: Decision Support System for Revenue Analysis
Project Description: This Data Mart is responsible for fulfilling all reporting requirements for Revenue Analysis. The Data Mart is populated on daily basis from underlying OLTP Application using scheduled ETL Packages. This application is used to analyze products ranking based on the Net Revenue, Sales, and Qty & Gross Margin. The cube data was with MS Excel Pivot tables’ services for reporting. Dynamic ad-hoc reports were also built to analysis the current and past trends and thus to provide desired information to the Top Management to make more informed decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Understanding base data, Analyze and Design Project requirement
• Involved in the data extraction from data mart into EXCEL spreadsheets for analysis
• Involved in HLD and Detailed design document.

Project: The Sales Data Warehouse
Project Description: This project was targeted to create a Sales data warehouse which helps the sales force to develop strategies on improving the product sales based on the reports. The sales warehouse contains data related to the company’s sales metrics like no. of units sold, dollar amount of sales, and the number of unique customers in a segment and as well as to prepare reports based on the products, product category/class, brand, store location (city, state, region and country) customer demographics, and also by individual promotions and promotion categories.
Responsibilities:
• Created packages for data transformations using look up, merge join, conditional split, derived column components and adjusted the buffer limit to optimize the performance.
• Created mockup reports based on the design.
• Responsible for developing different types of SSRS reports i.e. drilldown reports, sub reports, reports with groupings etc.
• Perform peer review on the reports and ensure it complies with client standards.
• Perform Unit testing and provide support to QA and UAT phase.

Project Description: Round The Clock is a powerful evaluation system for the corporate sectors with the Objective focused towards PERFORMANCE, INNOVATION and LEARNING (PIL). RTC System has various modules to its credit apart from Evaluation such as Knowledge Management and Take a Break. RTC System is a module based and the system can be broken into various components and installed based on the customer needs. Round the Clock evaluates the performance of the whole organization based on Corporate Objective and Business Objective as well as Specific Individual Objectives. Performance Goal Setting is evaluated by using this product. From the top level or Bottom up strategy the performance is evaluated based on their requirements.
