Professional Profile (Well Design Engineer/Drilling Engineer):

PT. Halliburton, Sperry Drilling Indonesia: April 2010 – Date.

Lead well Design/Drilling Engineer for Halliburton Indonesia. I provide well designs, proposals, well support and post job analysis to customers which help identify lessons learnt and improve well operations. I also develop and maintain personal relationships with the customer’s technical team. This includes consulting with the customers to determine their specific needs, offer sound advice on equipment capabilities, guide field personnel on technical complexity of jobs and develop solutions to problems as required. This has resulted in tremendous cost savings for various customers.

In addition to these, I supervise all the well Design/Drilling Engineers within my span of control and ensure all profiles and analyses meet individual customer’s objectives without compromising Health, Safety and the Environment. This is highlighted by the successful supervision of approximately 20 drilling rigs without any Design/Drilling Engineering related NPT or HSE incident, (2010).

Halliburton Operations Nigeria, Sperry Drilling: February 2006 – March 2010.

My responsibilities and achievements include:

o Designing multiple well platforms using COMPASS.

o BHA Designs and Analysis.

o Well Path surveys developments and calculation.

o Well anti-collision calculations and plots.

o Drill String TD,HYD, Force and Whirl analysis

o I predicted accurately BHA build/drop tendencies (equilibrium rate analysis) using MAXBHA for TOTAL E&P, ExxonMobil, Addax and many more.

o Effectively maintained the Directional Drilling DB and actively coordinated field support services.

o I was successfully seconded to Halliburton, Sperry Drilling Services Angola for a month as a Well Design Engineer/Drilling Engineer for ESSO.

o Successfully delivered series of presentations on drilling applications both at home and abroad.
