THESIS RESEARCH
My thesis “Zero Norm Optimization: Models and Applications” is in the field of operation research. The thesis defined various applications of the zero norm optimization and the related models. It also gives a start of how these models are solved.
PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN
PFMEA for the caterpillar engines (In production and new lines) in Texas Power Systems, Seguin.
Failure analysis and control plan to improve the process by suggesting and implementing the controls needed while maintaining the cycle time.
Designing facility layout for the industrial engineering shop floor.
Re-allocation of the workstations was done in order to get optimum output with least cost and time.
Fabrication of Pneumatic Material Handling System for the firm V. R Industries, Delhi.
A pneumatic arm was designed for material handling of the dies after the operation and placing them to the designated place.

Designation: PFMEA Engineer, Process/Manufacturing Engineer
Responsibility: Working closely with manufacturing engineer and conducting PFMEA for the assembly lines of C15 and C13 CAT engines, Control Plans and Recommended actions for the Process improvement of the engine assembly line, keeping in mind the cycle time balancing.

Role: Worked as Quality engineer on the team, taking care of the quality control of the product and Design for Reliability (DFR). This included team management and maintaing team moral in the department. V.R Industries work with Teflon, U.S.A and have similar quality norms. Also, did internship in Golden Locks, Delhi as a part of manufacturing and quality control team.
